Romer Debbas had the pleasure of representing the purchaser of this historic residential property located in the heart of Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood, commonly known as the Joseph B. Thomas House.

The property was named after the early 20th century owner who commissioned its major redesign. Some sources claim the structure of the property was originally a 17th century townhouse that was dismantled, shipped and reassembled in Manhattan in the 1800s. Over the years, the property has gone through redesigns, but much of its impressive original and pre-war historical architecture remains.
