BRIDGE & MEZZANINE LOANS

Romer Debbas LLP’s Commercial Lending and Agency Lending groups are well versed when it comes to Bridge and Mezzanine financing transactions. These facilities often provide borrowers with the short term flexibility needed to acquire and/or rehabilitate a property which will eventually enable them to obtain more permanent financing. Our experienced group of attorneys has represented both borrowers and lenders in connection with bridge and mezzanine transactions involving multifamily, retail and office properties.

Our Bridge Lending team has a particular speciality related to the financing of multifamily assets that are not quite ready for Government Sponsored Entity (GSE) loan execution. We work closely with borrowers and lenders to help them eventually comply with GSE requirements. One example of this would be the Bridge to HUD loan program which is growing in popularity nationwide.
