Mioko C. Tajika is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. She is an experienced commercial litigator who practices in both federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings.  Mioko’s experience includes litigating disputes involving intellectual property, employment, real estate, landlord/tenant, and conflict among co-owners of business entities, among others.  Outside of litigation, she advises clients on intellectual property and employment matters, has led internal investigations, and she also prepares, reviews, or negotiates various agreements for her clients.

Mioko is a native Japanese speaker and a founding member of the Japanese American Lawyers Network.  She has extensive experience advising Japanese clients doing business in the U.S. and representing them in U.S. litigation. Mioko strives to listen carefully and understand each client’s goals, and to deliver the desired outcome in a cost-effective manner.
